At the time Lady Bone Demon began her plan to create the perfect world, Tang and the others embarked on their own Journey to the West in search for the three Rings of Samadhi, unlocking powers similar to the Great Monk Tang Sanzang's. After being trapped in the Scroll of Memory, Tang's subconscious was sealed in Tang Sanzang until he was awakened by MK and Mei, helping them rescue the others and destroy the protective curse. Tang possess weak ankle joints, therefore having frequent injuries and pain in the feet and ankles. Which is his best scapegoat if he doesn't want to walk around anymore. Tang is an adult man with smooth black hair that is combed sideways. He wears round, gold rimmed glasses. Tang is a very, very, close friend to Pigsy, the male pig demon. Society has accepted demons like it's normal so there are no problems. He can get so very affectionate towards Pigsy, such as hugging him, sitting in his lap, or being carried in Pigsy's shoulder or in his arms, bridal style. Tang never payed for his noodle at Pigsy's noodle shop, which would bring out his friend's grumpy personality. Tho, Pigsy never really meant it and always stays with Tang. While Mei's family is from the legendary dragon, Ao Lie from years ago. Sun Wukong would usually visit at times to teach MK another one of his power, tho, Pigsy wasn't very fond to Sun Wukong in fear he'll be a bad influence for MK and Mei. They have many enemies, such as The Spider Queen, and her hench man, Syntax, Strong Spider, and Huntsman. All of them are spider demons.
