Walter Hartwell White Sr., a 52-year-old white man from Albuquerque, New Mexico, also known by his alias Heisenberg, is the protagonist of the American crime drama television series Breaking Bad. Walter was a skilled chemist, chemistry teacher at J.P. Wynne High School and co-founder of a technology firm before he found out he had lung cancer and accepted a buy-out from his partners, becoming a drug kingpin.
